ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sep. 22, 2025) Gunner’s Mate Seaman Class Conner Crocker, assigned to the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Cooperstown (LCS 23), loads ammunition into a .50-caliber machine gun in preparation for a multinational, multi-vessel live fire exercise, during UNITAS 2025, Sep. 22, 2025. UNITAS, Latin for Unity, focuses on enhanced interoperability, building regional partnerships, and brings together approximately 8,000 personnel from 26 allied and partner nations, with multiple ships, submarines, and fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft conducting operations through Oct. 6 in the Atlantic and ashore near Naval Station Mayport, Fla.; Maine Corps base Camp Lejeune, N.C.; and Naval Station Norfolk, Va.
