U.S. Marine Corps M-142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System is chained inside a C-17 Globemaster III in preparation for interval training exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Sept. 9, 2025. Hosted by Marine Corps Combat Logistics Group 21, Aerial Port of Embarkation/Disembarkation, are responsible for movement of more than 400 flights, 38,000 passengers, and 6,800 short tons of cargo in the span of a year to fulfill the Department of Defense mission of ensuring national security.
