BRUNSWICK, Maine (Sept. 17, 2025) – Northeastern University, in partnership with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), conducted a Cold Spray Training session at a designated location. The session focused on advancing cold spray technology to enhance shipyard operations critical to the Navy’s mission. This initiative strengthens the vital link between the Foundry, the Fleet, and the Fight, ensuring that shipyards continue to produce and maintain the Navy’s warfighting assets with efficiency and precision. The hands-on training provided valuable insights into modernizing repair and maintenance processes, directly supporting fleet readiness and operational capability.
