U.S. Marine Corps MSgt. William Patterson, Marine Advisor Company Alpha, left,
teaches Romanian Marines with the 307th Naval Infantry Regiment (NIR) how to
properly conduct casualty carries for a tactical combat casualty care course during
Heracleea 25 in Babadag, Romania, Sept 18, 2025. Heracleea is an annual capstone
training exercise in which U.S. Marines assist the 307th NIR in developing systematic,
long-term training plans including infantry skills, tactical combat casualty care, land
navigation, and radio skills with the goal of executing a modified Marine Corps
