Soldiers from the 82nd Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Company, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), and 7th Battalion, 158th Aviation Regiment conduct Medical Evacuation training in preparation for the CBRN semi-annual certification exercise at Fort Carson, Colorado, Sept. 11, 2025. MEDEVAC training is essential in CBRN training because it assesses the team’s capabilities to ensure a rapid and coordinated evacuation of contaminated or injured personnel, not only in life-threatening situations, but in the prevention of further exposure in hazardous environments.
