U.S. Army Soldiers of 128th Chemical Company, 337th Engineer Battalion, prepare to enter an underground tunnel with Czech Armed Forces for site reconnaissance during the Engineer Thunder 2025 training exercise in Lithuania, on Sept. 15. Engineer Thunder is a biennial NATO multinational exercise in Lithuania, established in 2013, and includes more than 1,000 participants from Lithuania, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Portugal, and the United States. The sixth day of the two-week training event partnered U.S. Army Soldiers from 128th Chemical Company and the Czech Armed Forces for an initial entry into hazardous sites. Together, the troops sampled hazardous materials and solidified working knowledge of each other’s processes. Engineer Thunder 2025 highlights the strength and strategic value of international partnerships to advance convergence through integrated engineering efforts. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc.
