    Marine Rotational Force - Darwin

    U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Tyler Schipper, a mortarman with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 25.3, teaches a nine line to Republic of Korea marines during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care class as part of Super Garuda Shield aboard the Republic of Indonesia Navy landing dock ship KRI Makassar (590), Aug. 30, 2025. Super Garuda Shield is an annual exercise between the Indonesian National Armed Forces and U.S. Military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, and cooperation. MRF-D 25.3 is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and provide a forward postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
