Senior construction manager Andy Lemelin (left), project manager Linn Lebel (center), and executive officer Cmdr. Riley W. Smith (right) briefed the admiral about ongoing Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP) construction projects assigned to Officer in Charge of Construction PNSY.
Ongoing shipyard projects include construction of two new dry dock positions designated as Dry Dock 1 North and Dry Dock 1 West. These multi-function additions will provide advanced maintenance support for Virginia-class submarines.
