VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 16, 2025) Miss Virginia USA, Erin Houston, reads a story to children at Naval Air Station Oceana’s Sharon A. Preston Child Development Center ahead of the 2025 NAS Oceana Air Show, Sept. 16. Houston, a Virginia Beach native and graduate of Cox High School, was selected as the Blue Angels’ Key Influencer rider for this year’s show and will fly in the back seat of an F/A-18 with Blue Angel #7. NAS Oceana’s Child and Youth Programs support the growth, development, and well-being of Navy children while enabling parents to focus on mission success.
