KEFLAVÍK, Iceland (September 13, 2025) - Naval Aircrewman Operator 2nd Class Joseph Garcia, assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, center, teaches members of the Royal Danish Army; 2nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Battalion (2 EODBTN) and 5th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company (5 EODKMP) about the Viking Quick Donning Anti Exposure Suit and P-8A Poseidon search and rescue capabilities during Northern Challenge 2025 at Keflavik Air Base, Iceland, September 13, 2025. Northern Challenge is an annual explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) exercise hosted by the Icelandic Coast Guard to sharpen warfighting readiness and strengthen multinational interoperability in complex EOD operations to ensure U.S. forces and Allies remain ready to fight and win together.
