The U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton command team, The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers North Atlantic Division, the U.S. Coast Guard New York Sector, and the New York City Recruiting Battalion attended the FDNY’s Commissioner’s and NYC Mayor’s Sunset Ceremony at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 to honor and commemorate the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the WTC. The ceremony honored the fallen firefighters, those who perished during the attacks and from 9/11 related illnesses in the following years, and service members who lost their lives in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
