Chase Sutherland, a bulk fuel specialist with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, carries 600 pounds to win a portion of the Fittest of the 2nd Marine Logistics Group competition at the Human Performance Center at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 12, 2025. Twice a year teams from across 2nd MLG battalions compete for the title of “Fittest of 2nd MLG” to promote physical fitness, camaraderie, and friendly competition. Sutherland is a native of Indiana.
