U.S. Army Pfc. Savanna Carnes, assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade, trains on the Mark 19 automatic grenade launcher while participating in a weapons training lane as part of the initial education and training phase of the upcoming Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) and Expert Soldier Badge (ESB) test at Grafenwöhr Training Area, Grafenwöhr, Germany, Sept. 14, 2025. This lane is part of the EIB and ESB testing, collectively known as E2B, which tests candidates’ physical and mental abilities while executing critical tasks.
