GROVELAND, California (June 16, 2025) – Tonya Bills, Stanislaus National Forest, Groveland Ranger District works along Forest Road 1S12 in the El Portal area to flag all Regional Forester’s Sensitive plant occurrences on the district as well as infestations of invasive species. During prescribed burns, the flagging will alert firefighters to burn hotter in the event of invasive species and where to avoid with the sensitive plant flagging.
