A CH-47 Chinook helicopter assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s 1-52nd General Support Aviation Battalion lands at the Geronimo Drop Zone to pick up Airmen and Soldiers during a joint airborne operation at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Sept. 3, 2025. The joint operation brought together various units supporting the mission in complex environments.
