Sgt. 1st Class William Pryor works with a Soldier during a Next Generation Squad Weapon Familiarization session at Fort Benning. Pryor is the team chief for the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Instructor Training Group, which travels across the country, upon request, to train Department of Defense personnel on both basic and advanced marksmanship techniques. Historically, servicemembers trained by the USAMU have increased their hit rates by at least 30 percent.
