    16th Sustainment Brigade

Joshua Lairson, an 88M truckmaster with the 40th Transportation Company, who serves as a group evaluator during the Ghost Rider Gauntlet at Smith Barracks in Baumholder, Germany, Sept. 12, 2025. Lairson, a former 11B infantryman, designed the tactical-themed physical readiness event and further developed it assisted by fellow unit members.

    The 40th Transportation Company has hosted at least four iterations of the competition, with this round drawing participation from Maj. Gen. Michael B. Lalor, commanding general of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command.
