U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Task Force Iron stand with Polish Brig. Gen. Krzysztof Knut, commander of the 8th Infantry Division, and Col. Krzysztof Orzech, commander of the Multinational Territorial Command for Forces Operations, at the Homo Homini memorial in Kielce, Poland, Sept. 11, 2025. The monument was erected in 2006, created by Adam Myjak and designed to commemorate the victims of the September 11 attacks. The annual 9/11 memorial honors the victims of terrorism while underscoring NATO’s solidarity and unified commitment of its multinational battlegroups on the eastern flank.
