A hiker, who stayed near the trailhead the previous night, sets out to summit Freel Peak, 10,881-feet, Jobs Sister, 10,823-feet, and Jobs Peak, 10,638-feet, on July 30, 2022. These peaks are within the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, Pacific Southwest Region of the USDA Forest Service, and can be seen looking over Lake Tahoe. Freel Peak is the highest peak surrounding the lake. The hiker started at 8,277 feet and bagged all three peaks for a total of 11 miles in 6 hours, 30 minutes.
