U.S. Army soldiers with the 3rd Squad, 2nd Cavalry Regiment (2CR), maintain their perimeter, scanning for potential enemies, during exercise Saber Junction 25, Sept. 6, 2025, at Joint Multinational Readiness Center's (JMRC) Hohenfels Training Area, Germany. During the notional battle, Observer Coach Trainers from Grizzly Team evaluated 2CR's war fighting functions. Rotations such as Saber Junction prepare U.S., Allied and Partner forces to act decisively in response to emerging threats, crises, or opportunities. U.S. Army Europe and Africa ensures the consistent availability of combat-credible U.S. Army forces in support of its Allies and Partners and the stability and security of Europe. To do so, personnel and equipment must remain at a high level of readiness. (U.S. Army National Guard Photo by Pfc. Makayla Panzer, 114th Public Affairs Detachment)
