Capt. Tony Holmes, commanding officer of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, addresses the crew of the command’s Self Defense Test Ship (SDTS) in the vessel’s galley on June 16. The SDTS returned to Port Hueneme, California, on June 12 after 14 months in San Diego for maintenance and upgrades. The SDTS is the refurbished ex-USS Paul F.
