A dozer plows through a detonated minefield Aug. 21, 2025, during a breaching exercise at Fort Hood, Texas, where Soldiers with 59th Combat Engineer Company–Armored, 20th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade, fired a mine-clearing line charge, plowed a minefield and detonated cratering charges to defeat obstacles and allow Abrams tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles to advance in a training area on Fort Hood’s northeastern side. The dozer can be operated manned or unmanned, and is part of new technology being used by the combat engineers to make breaching safer for troops.
