Mr. Chris Miller, Executive Director of Naval Sea Systems Command, Capt. Chris Matassa, Commanding Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, and Mr. Tom Perotti, Executive Director, Naval Sea Systems Command, Engineering and Logistics (SEA 05), and (Acting) Executive Director Naval Surface and Undersea Warfare Centers recognize employees from Carderock's Fabrication and Technical Support Division and Future Concepts & Design Integration Division on August 28, 2025, in West Bethesda, Md. Mr. Miller and Mr. Perotti recognized the team's effort in delivering four precise 1/250 scale models in just eight calendar days for NAVSEA headquarters. The visit was part of a familiarization tour of recent projects at Carderock, the Navy's innovation and ship design powerhouse, a world-class research and development facility specializing in critical ship design components.
