Salcido, with 90th Sustainment Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) and U.S. Border Patrol agents, observe the implementation of U.S. Army Strykers along the Rio Grande river near Laredo, Texas, Aug. 15, 2025. The 142nd Engineer Battalion, North Dakota Army National Guard, conducted Operation Giant Alp in conjunction with multiple partners along the southern border in U.S. Border Patrol Laredo Sector, effectively disrupting illegal crossings and unmanned aircraft activity.
