The official United States Marine Corps Color Guard presents the national ensign at the final Evening Parade of the 2025 season at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., Aug. 22, 2025. Lt. Gen. Benjamin Watson, commanding general of Training and Education Command, served as the hosting official with His Excellency Lord Peter Mandelson, British ambassador to the United States as the guest of honor for the evening. Evening Parades, held every Friday during the summer, feature the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, “The Commandant’s Own” United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and the official Marine Corps Color Guard, showcasing the precision, discipline, and 250 years of tradition that define the Marine Corps.
