Matthew Howell, commanding officer of Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Mid America, presents a $200,000 Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) scholarship to Christian Ermilio, a senior at Kirkwood High School in Missouri on Aug. 21, 2025. The scholarship, awarded through the Immediate Scholarship Reservation (ISR) program, will allow Ermilio to attend one of more than 170 Navy-affiliated universities nationwide and commission as a Navy officer upon graduation.
