1st Lt. Grif Hokenson and 1st Lt. Kevin Moore from the 75th Ranger Regiment (Team 44) drag a simulated casualty across the field of Doughboy Stadium during the Lt. Gen. David E. Grange Jr. Best Ranger Competition held at Fort Benning, Georgia, April 11-14, 2025. The 2025 Best Ranger Competition, won by Hokenson and Moore, was a four-day, two-man team event that pushed Soldiers from across the Department of War through 35 demanding events designed to test endurance, technical and tactical proficiency, teamwork, and mental toughness in pursuit of the title of Best Ranger.
