NSWCDD Technical Director (Acting) Shawna McCreary, SES, and Commanding Officer Capt. Joe Oravec welcomed back Manuel Hermosilla, SES, Deputy Commander for Cyber Engineering and Digital Transformation at NAVSEA, to Dahlgren. His visit provided an opportunity to showcase the capabilities of the Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center (NSERC), which offers centralized and on-demand cloud services and platforms developed at NSWCDD. From virtualization of hosting infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment to driving Navy IT modernization through rapidly deployable solutions, NSERC has been pivotal in reducing costs, boosting performance and enhancing security. With over 25 years of NSWCDD’s expertise, NSERC’s flexible platforms empower mission owners to innovate rapidly, delivering next-generation capabilities.
