250805-N-NO999-2021 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 5, 2025) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Elizabeth Ruiz and Culinary Specialist Seaman Malachi Cottingham secures an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 14, onto the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) in the Pacific Ocean, Aug. 5, 2025. Mustin, a part of Carrier Strike Group Three, is underway conducting routine operations in the 3rd Fleet area of operations. As an integral part of U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet operates naval forces in the Indo-Pacific and provides the realistic and relevant training to ensure the readiness necessary to exercise the U.S. Navy’s timeless role across the full spectrum of military operations.
