U.S. Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 64th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Task Force Iron, participates in the Polish Armed Forces Day parade by driving M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks along the Armed Forces Day parade route in Warsaw, Poland, Aug. 15, 2025. The Battle of Warsaw demonstrated Poland’s ability to defeat a numerically superior force and is credited with halting the spread of communism into Europe. Task Force Iron's involvement demonstrates the strong support the U.S. gives to NATO Allies, building interoperability.
