Veterinary services encompass a wide range of care aimed at maintaining and improving the health of animals. This includes preventive care like vaccinations and parasite control, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, surgical procedures, and advice on animal care.
Healthy Broome is a United States Department of Defense IRT mission in partnership with the Broome County community. The mission will offer medical, dental, optometry, and veterinary services at no cost to residents from August 11, 2025, to August 20, 2025, at SUNY BCC ICE Center and the Humane Society. The IRT program facilitates the sharing of Department of Defense and community resources, driving cost efficiencies for both entities. Moreover, the diverse range of military capabilities offered by the program directly address long-standing local challenges. Opportunities for Service Components to collaborate are highly valued.
