Belize Defence Force and Belize Coast Guard members look at a small, unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) during exercise AGILE BEAR 25, Belize City, Belize, Aug. 4, 2025. During the course, participants learned about the advantages and uses of sUASs, aiding in the collection of data without putting service members in harm’s way. AGILE BEAR, led by Joint Task Force-Bravo provides critical subject matter expert exchanges in disaster response and counter transnational criminal organization activities preparing U.S. Southern Command’s Situational Assessment Team, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, and Belize and NATO partners for a collaborative response in times of crises.
