Three Belize Coast Guard members observe the hundred meter swim prior to helocast practice during AGILE BEAR 25, at Belize City, Belize, Aug. 5, 2025. In addition to a distance swim, Belize Defence Force, BCG, and U.S. service members had to tread water for five minutes to showcase their swimming techniques. The exercise aims to strengthen the readiness of U.S. and partner nation forces to respond effectively during a disaster and in countering transnational criminal organizations through various subject matter expert exchanges.
