U.S. Army Task Force Bataan members assigned to the East Africa Response Force secure a sling load to a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161 (Reinforced) July 31, 2025, at Grand Bara Desert, Djibouti. The training enhanced aerial re-supply capabilities, as well as load stability procedures. Both are crucial readiness skills necessary to support ongoing operations in East Africa.
