U.S. Marines assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (VMM-161) perform routine maintenance on an MV-22 Osprey at Camp Lemonnier on July 28, 2025. This essential maintenance ensures the aircraft is safe, reliable and mission-ready. The VMM-161 squadron provides assault support for the transport of combat troops, supplies, and equipment during expeditionary and joint operations.
Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where they are needed to ensure security and protect U.S. interests.
