Family, friends, and Soldiers gather for the dedication of the, "Danny Randolph Memorial Mile" in honor of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Danny Randolph at the Gallatin Civic Center in Gallatin, Tennessee Aug. 7, 2025. Randolph was a Tennessee National Guard Black Hawk pilot with the 1-230th Assault Helicopter Battalion, who was killed during a training flight on Feb. 15, 2023. Randolph, Gallatin native and father of six, was known for his commitment to duty and service during national emergencies. "Danny was a loving father and a great son who was compassionate about his family," said Danny's mother Patricia Randolph, "it means a lot to know that Danny will be remembered for the life he lived and the dream he fulfilled of becoming a pilot."
