U.S. Army Col. John Abella, President of the class of 2026 greets USAWC students during convocation. The Army War College Class of 2026 officially began their academic program with a convocation ceremony held on August 4, 2025, in Bliss Auditorium. During the event, the new resident class was formally introduced to the USAWC faculty and key staff members. The ceremony also featured keynote addresses by Provost David Dworak and the 54th Commandant, MG Trevor Bredenkamp.
