Upchurch, a native of Rogersville, Tenn., serving with Engineer Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, plots grid coordinates inside a simulated humvee during a training exercise at Twentynine Palms, Calif., May 3, 2013.
