A 3D-printed grenade deployment attachment sits on a workstation at Norio Training Area, Georgia, Aug. 2, 2025, during Agile Spirit 25. The device was designed and fabricated by U.S. Soldiers assigned to Hawkeye Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade. It holds four grenades and is engineered to pull pins upon detachment. The system demonstrates how rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing can enhance lethality and adaptability in austere environments.
