    Lt. Col. Gerald Mothes, who most recently served as the Pennsylvania Army National Guard deputy operations (G3) officer and commander of 1st Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment, is honored during a retirement ceremony conducted Aug. 1 at Fort Indiantown Gap’s Keystone Conference Center. Mothes, who retired after more than 30 years of service, enlisted into the active-duty Army in 1987.
