A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft assigned to the 203rd Air Refueling Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, takes off from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, during the U.S. Air Force’s 2025 Department-Level Exercise series, July 30, 2025. Several units that supported the DLE in Guam redeployed to support Exercise Bamboo Eagle 25-3. The KC-135 provides critical aerial refueling support, enabling global reach and extended air operations throughout the Indo-Pacific region. The DLE series encompasses all branches of the Department of Defense, along with Allies and partners, employing more than 400 Joint and coalition aircraft and more than 12,000 members at more than 50 locations across 3,000 miles.
