NAVAL STATION NORFOLK, July 17, 2025 – Civilian supervisor Carl Viviano (MARMC Dive Team Alpha) performs pre-dive checks with Navy Diver 2nd Class Austin Good, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 6, prior to conducting underwater ship husbandry work with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) team. MARMC’s mission is essential to maintaining submarines, surface ships, and aircraft carriers through a series of complex underwater repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring the fleet remains safe, ready, and mission-capable.
