Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Maj. Gen. Toshikatsu Musha, commanding general, JGSDF Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade, presents a gift to U.S.Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Trevor Hall, commanding general, 3D Marine Expeditionary Brigade (3D MEB), at Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, July 30, 2025. As the Commanding General of the 3D Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Brig. Gen. Hall’s endeavors as an advocate for the United States-Japan Alliance were critical to bilateral efforts and strengthened the relationship between the nations. 3D MEB maintains readiness for Alert Contingency Marine Air-Ground Task Force preparedness, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
