Drones drop tennis balls filled with smoke powder to simulate dropped munitions during WAREX25. Soldiers from the 86th Training Division had to hone their skills to react, respond, and report any UAS incidents or UAS activity encountered throughout the US Army Reserve Command (USARC) Warrior Exercise (WAREX 25) from July 12-26, 2025, at ASA Fort Dix, WAREX is an annual large-scale training event platform which incorporates a variety of training scenarios, including Army warrior tasks, live-fire exercises, simulations, and force-on-force maneuvers to validate warfighting capabilities.
