A Talon robot is operated by the 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal Airmen, here, May 26. The Talon robot is used to disarm and disrupt improvised explosive devices and unexploded ordnances. The distance between robot operators and the ordnances they seek to disarm helps keep EOD Airmen alive and safe.
