A U.S. Marine with Force Reconnaissance Platoon, Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a Japan Ground Self-Defense Force service member with 1st Amphibious Rapid Deployment Regiment, guide combat rubber raid crafts carrying JGSDF service members with 1st ARDR during a combined joint forcible entry operation exercise as part of Talisman Sabre 25, in Queensland, Australia, July 23, 2025. The CJFEO is a multinational distributed amphibious maneuver to seize and secure beachheads, including the conduct of bilateral beach support areas, ship-to-shore assault, air delivery operations, a rapid resupply point, and maritime strike and defense operations.
