Spc. Zachary Lopez, with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, is congratulated by U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Kevin D. Lopez was recognized for his significant contributions to a recent mission where, over the course of a week, he was responsible for the temporary detention and subsequent transfer of 10 trespassers, and 30 illegal alien detections in the New Mexico National Defense Area. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
