VALENT 25, held at Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Fla., showcased critical collaboration between Air Forces Space (AFSPACE), First Air Force’s Detachment 3, and NASA.
The validation exercise featured pararescuemen from the 306th Rescue Squadron, along with aircraft from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 26, U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Joshua Appleby, and the Hawaii Air National Guard. Teams executed a simulated launch pad abort and ascent abort scenario reinforcing their preparedness for human spaceflight rescue operations.
