A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III sits in front of a Royal Australian Air Force C-17 Globemaster III on a runway in Queensland, Australia, July 15, 2025, in support of Talisman Sabre 25. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area. TS25 is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the U.S. advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
