Andrew Wahl, aerospace medical technician from the 157th Air Refueling Wing, takes vital signs of service members participating in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosives Enhanced Response Force Package, CERFP, collective training exercise, CTE, at Rhode Island Fire Academy, Exeter, Rhode Island, July 17, 2025. The Airmen and Soldiers performed in CTE in full CBRNE gear, provided rescue and recovery measures in a simulated contaminated environment, and in outdoor high-temperature conditions requiring them to attend the real-world service member medical tent during each work-cycle break for safety and medical assessment.
